Preventive & family
A gentle start.
Healthy habits for life.
We welcome young patients who can comfortably sit and participate in a general dental visit, with age-appropriate explanations and a calm pace.
Plan your visit
When should a child visit?
We generally welcome children age 12 and older, when they are often transitioning from a pediatric dentist to a general dentist. A pediatric or other specialty referral may be recommended when appropriate.
Build comfort before complexity
We introduce the room and instruments in age-appropriate language, praise small successes and avoid rushing. The goal is a positive foundation as well as a thorough visit.
Prevention for growing smiles
Care may include an examination, cleaning, fluoride, sealants, brushing guidance and digital imaging only when appropriate. Complex behavioral or specialty needs may be referred to a pediatric dentist.
Your care. A clear estimate.
Treatment recommendations and fees depend on your examination. We’ll explain your plan, discuss insurance estimates when applicable, and answer questions before you schedule treatment.
